Dr Robert Drielsma MBBS, BSc(Med), FRACS
Dr Drielsma is a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. His basic medical degree was completed at the University of Sydney in 1982. During this time he also completed a Bachelor of Science degree.
Dr Drielsma trained in General surgery becoming a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1990. He then entered advanced training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Sydney qualifying in this discipline in 1993.
Following Plastic and Reconstructive training in Sydney, Dr Drielsma spent 3 years in overseas in post-fellowship training including:
- 12 months in general plastic surgery at East Grinstead, England
- 12 months in cosmetic surgery in London and Paris
- 12 months in Paediatric Plastic Surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
On return to Australia in 1996, Dr Drielsma commenced practice in Canberra, ACT and Bondi Junction, Sydney. He is now based in Sydney. Dr Drielsma has a vast experience of Cosmetic Surgery of the Face, Breasts and Body contouring. He continues to offer a high standard of service in the fields of Cosmetic Surgery, Reconstructive Microsurgery, Paediatric Plastic Surgery and surgery of the hand.
Dr Drielsma has lectured widely to medical and nursing groups in relation to Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery.

- ACLAPA: Australian Cleft Lip and palate Association.
Dr Drielsma's practice is now based primarily in Bondi Junction, Eastern Suburbs, Sydney.
